“Educated side by side, untroubled from infancy by divisive prejudices, acquainted with all that is great and good in the different cultures, it will be borne in and upon them as they mature that they belong together.
Without ceasing to look to their own lands with love and pride, they will become in mind Europeans, schooled and ready to complete and consolidate the work of their fathers before them, to bring into being a united and thriving Europe.”
The development of our students into active and conscientious citizens of the world is at the center of the European School Mol. ES Mol is smaller than most European & International schools and as such has a family feel, where students and staff know each other personally. The classes are smaller than average-sized classes and are tailored to the needs of the individual students.
Our school has three language sections: Dutch, French and English. All students are taught in the language of their section, in the main by mother tongue speakers (or equivalent).
The European School of Mol welcomes ALL students. Our student body is composed of children from local families as well as from European and overseas families who live and work in the area. The daily school buses bring students from Antwerp and Eindhoven to Mol. Boarding facilities and host families are available for those students who live far away.
The curriculum at the European schools is structured in such a way that students can return to their own national systems at any stage during their academic careers.
Each year our graduates leave ES Mol knowing that they are well prepared to cope with new challenges at a university of their choice, within Europe or overseas.

One of the main features of our school is the multilingual and multicultural character of the education on offer.
Our Nursery cycle consists of a 3-year curriculum for children aged 3 to 6.
Our Primary school welcomes children from the age of 6 years over a 5-year curriculum. From Primary Year 1 onwards, all pupils study a second language.
The Secondary school offers a 7-year curriculum for students aged 11 to 18. From Year 1 onwards, all secondary school students study 3 languages. Secondary education is validated by the European Baccalaureate examinations at the end of year 7. The certificate awarded is fully recognised in all the countries of the European Union, as well as several others.
Interested families are welcome to visit us during our Open Day or contact the school Secretary for an appointment.
This is not regular practice. In exceptional cases and strict requirements, a payment plan can be agreed. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The school does not offer any scholarships.
The school cooperates with 2 external boarding schools, with transportation to and from school. Students can stay in the boarding school from Monday to Friday.

If the student’s mother tongue is the language of one of the language sections and the students is motivated to catch up through extra study and support, it may be possible in Years 1 and 2.
As of Year 3, some subjects are instructed in the student’s second language, which means it will become very challenging to enter the school system with only 1 language.
We encourage each student to select the language section of his/her mother tongue.
If this is not possible and the student has a good command of English a language level assessment will be planned. Based on this result, an advice will be given.
